Blushing Leprechaun
Lemon Simple Syrup
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup water
juice of 2 lemons
Cocktail
5 raspberries
2 1/2 ounces lemon simple syrup
1 1/2 ounces Irish whiskey
To make lemon simple syrup
In a saucepan, bring sugar and water to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer 2-3 minutes. Let cool completely. Stir in the lemon juice.
To make cocktail
Add all ingredients to an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously until the raspberries start to break up to give it the exquisite blush color.
Strain into cocktail glass.
