Ingredients

1/4 cup fresh grapefruit juice

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 cup mezcal or tequila

1/4 cup fresh club soda

splash cherry liqueur

kosher salt

Directions

Pour kosher salt on a plate. Rim a cocktail glass in the kosher salt.

Combine grapefruit juice, lime juice, and sugar in a cocktail shaker. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in mezcal or tequila, cherry liqueur, and ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Top with club soda.
