Mardi Gras, French for Fat Tuesday, is a day to eat fatty and richer food before Lent begins. What could be more indulgent on Mardi Grass than hurricanes and bacon-oyster bites!

Ingredients
8 slices of bacon, halved
1 5 ounce can smoked oysters
1/2 cup herb-seasoned bread stuffing mix
1/2 cup water
Directions

1/2 cup herb-seasoned bread stuffing mix

Directions
Partially cook the bacon. Combine the oysters, herb stuffing mix and water. Shape into balls using 1 tablespoon of mixture. Wrap a slice bacon around each and secure with a toothpick.
Place the balls on a rack in a shallow baking pan and bake in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 25-30 minutes.
