Doing the Derby in Style with a Bourbon Buck

Last year I wrote a blog titled A Stash of Sugar Cookies explaining how my friend Megan and I did not understand the mustache craze. Much to our surprise the craze has intensified! You can't go anywhere without seeing a mustache; there are  large pink mustaches on  NYC car services, grow a mustache for kids, mustache clothing for all ages, mustache party plates, and even mustache cocktail glasses! This past week Megan surprised me with a mustache cocktail glass. The delicious Bourbon Buck happens to be the perfect cocktail for such a stylish glass. Cheers Megan!

                                                          Bourbon Buck

                                                          Mitte Hellmich
                                                                                         

Ingredients
Lemon Wedge
2 ounces bourbon
5 ounces chilled ginger ale

Squeeze the lemon wedge into an ice-filled glass. Add the bourbon, top with ginger ale, and stir gently.
