I happen to love hotdogs and Cuban sandwiches. Put them together and you have the most delicious lunch! Sandwiched between a warm buttery crispy roll, are the saltiness of the hot dog along with the sweetness of the cheese and tartness of the mustard and pickles. The explosion of flavors is so delectable; you will savor each and every bite just to make this wonderful sandwich last a bit longer.

Ingredients
Vegetable oil for the grill
8 hot dogs
1/4 cup yellow mustard
4 sub rolls
8 thick slices of ham
2 dill pickles, sliced lengthwise
8 slices Swiss cheese
Unsalted butter for brushing

1. Heat a grill pan to medium, lightly oil the grates. Grill the hot dogs, turning, until marked, about 10 minutes. Transfer to a cutting board and halve lengthwise.
2. Spread the mustard on the sub rolls. Sandwich with the ham, pickles, cheese and split hot dogs. Butter the outsides of the sandwiches and cook in a panini press or grill pan (flattening with a heavy pan), until golden and crisp, 3 to 4 minutes.
