Tommy's Margarita

There are countless legends about who invented the infamous Margarita cocktail. Perhaps the most famous is that Margarita Sames, the Texan socialite, created it in 1948. However, a lesser known legend is that Tommy, a bartender in Tijuana, created it to impress Rita Hayworth. Regardless of which legend you choose to believe the Margarita remains the number one ordered cocktail.

Ingredients
2 oz. Don Julio Reposado Tequila
1 oz. agave nectar
1 oz. lime juice

Garnish
fresh lime wedge
optional, salt for margarita

Place all ingredients into a mixing tin, add large ice, shake vigorously, double strain into a glass over fresh ice, garnish and serve.
