Sesame Chicken Wings
Ingredients
for the wings
12 chicken wings
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
for the sesame sauce
3 tablespoons sesame oil
3 tablespoons soy sauce
4 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon sriracha
1 3/4 tablespoons sesame seeds
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the salt, freshly ground pepper and baking powder. Toss the wings and coat evenly. place on parchment paper 1/2-inch apart.
3. Bake 20 minutes, flip and bake another 18 to 20 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.
4. In a medium bowl, combine the sesame oil, soy sauce, sriracha and honey. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Gently simmer the sauce for 8 to 10 minutes.
5. Toss the baked chicken wings in the sauce and coat evenly. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
