My favorite holiday side dish has always been the stuffing. I tend to double the amount just so I can have leftovers. I usually reheat the stuffing to eat as is or add it to my turkey sandwich. This year I decided to make something different: Stuffing Waffles. So crispy and savory with a hint of sweetness from the drizzled maple syrup, this decadent dish is a wondrous luscious meal. Leftover Stuffing Waffles: it's a good thing!
Leftover Stuffing Waffles
Ingredients
4 cups leftover stuffing
2 large egg, beaten
Grease the waffle iron with non stick cooking spray. Add stuffing mixture to waffle iron in batches and cook until golden and crispy, about 5 minutes.
Drizzle with maple syrup.
