Five Golden Eggnog French Toasts

Eggnog French Toast is so decadent, rich and golden; you may forget your true love should be sending five golden rings!

                                                              Eggnog French Toast


Ingredients
challah, cut into 1" slices
6 eggs
2 cups eggnog
3/4 ounce rum (optional)
1/2 ounce bourbon (optional)
1/2 ounce cognac (optional)
1/4 cup super fine sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
confectioners sugar

Directions
Whisk the eggs, eggnog, rum, bourbon, cognac, sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until well blended, Pour into a shallow dish.

Preheat and lightly grease a skillet.

Dip one slice of the challah at a time in the eggnog mixture, coating each side thoroughly.

Place the prepared challah into the skillet, and cook, turning once, until a rich golden brown on each side. Place the cooked slices on a serving plate and cover with foil to keep warm until all the Eggnog French Toast is cooked.

Sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Serve immediately.
