Mickey Mouse-arita

My son Patrick, his wife Vanessa, and their son Jakob treated me to a magical vacation in Disney World to celebrate Jakob's birthday. The excitement began as soon as we landed: Mickey Mouse's face was everywhere! Immediately after we checked in, we boarded the Disney bus and were on our way to the park. The wonder and magic of Disney was so powerful we forgot we had only three hours of sleep and embraced everything the park had to offer. In fact Patrick convinced me to go on the Aerosmith roller coaster with him. The last time I went on a roller coaster I was in high school. Albeit that roller coaster was tamed compared to today's roller coasters, I promised myself I would never go on one again. Through the magic of Disney, I discovered a love for roller coasters. We were greeted by Mickey Mouse and his friends at a special birthday lunch for Jakob; each character taking time to sign autographs for Jakob and hug him. For four magnificent days, we were captivated by the magic of Disney, its fun filled parks, the happiness of the guests, and the kindness of the workers.

The time I spent with Patrick, Vanessa, and Jakob had more magic than in all of Disney World. Thank you for a vacation filled with find memories that will always live dear in my heart.

Ingredients
1/4 cup tequila 

1 ounce triple sec

1/4 cup fresh squeezed lime juice

1/2 cup cherry juice

maraschino cherries

black sanding sugar

Directions

Rim glass with sanding sugar. Place maraschino cherries on side of cocktail glass.

Add the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and cherry juice to an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain into glass. Cheers!
