Pico de Gallo

Spice up your next meal with Pico de Gallo, a zesty Mexican salsa made with fresh tomatoes, onions, chiles and cilantro. This wonderful salsa with its vibrant  and gorgeous colors along with its lively flavors is easy to make and will enhance any meal.

 Ingredients
4 cups seeded and diced fresh tomatoes
1 cup small-diced white or sweet onions
1/3 cup fresh lime juice
2 to 3 serrano chiles
1/4 cup fresh cilantro
kosher salt

Directions
Combine the tomatoes, onion, lime juice, serrano chiles, cilantro, and 2 tsp. salt in a large bowl. Mix well, cover and let sit at room temperature for 1 hour. Season to taste with more salt if necessary. This salsa can be made up to 3 days ahead. Strain before using.
