The Winner's Cup

This cocktail is a delectable twist on the traditional Derby cocktail. Cheers!

                                                                                     Gin Julep
                                                            

Ingredients
2 ounces gin
10 - 12 mint leaves
1/2 teaspoon superfine sugar
seltzer
crushed ice

Directions
In the bottom of a julep cup, muddle the mint leaves with the superfine sugar until the mint starts to break down. Add the gin and stir until the sugar dissolves. Add crushed ice to fill cup three-quarters of the way and top with seltzer. Stir, top with more crushed ice, and garnish with a mint sprig. Serve immediately.
