I was first introduced to adobe spice in a Cuban Asian restaurant. I fell in love with its subtle yet delectable flavor and since then have been using it in rice, black beans, soups and roasts. I now make my own, a healthier version of the store packs which are often high in sodium and contain food dye. This recipe takes seconds to make and can be stored in an airtight container.
makes 1/2 cup
Ingredients
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon onion powder
Ingredients
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon onion powder
Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl. Mix well to make sure the spices are well-distributed.
