Pumpkin Hummus

Pumpkin Hummus is a unique holiday twist on the classic hummus. So creamy, delectable, and easy to make, it could be the start of a new holiday tradition.

                                                                    Pumpkin Hummus


Ingredients
2 15-ounce cans of chickpeas,
   drained and rinsed
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons tahini
2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 small garlic cloves
1/4 teaspoon cayenne 
kosher salt

pita chips
crudités

Directions
Pulse the lemon juice, garlic, tahini, and salt together in a food processor until smooth. Add the chickpeas and olive oil pulse until smooth. Add pumpkin, cayenne, and lemon zest; process until blended. Serve with pita chips or crudités.
