Sugared Flowers
Ingredients
1 large egg white
pesticide-free edible flowers, such as violas, pansies, violets, or roses
superfine sugar
Directions
Crack the egg in a small bowl and whisk. Dip each flower in egg wash or gently paint each flower with egg wash, using soft bristle brush. Sprinkle with sugar. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment and let dry. Flowers will keep in an airtight container for up to three months.
