Quarantini

Stuck at home, tired of eating pasta and soup, and tired of playing the same board game over and over again. why nor make a Quarantini? The honey, lemon, and ginger will help boost your immunity while the alcohol kills germs. This refreshing and somewhat healthy cocktail will help you survive being quarantined in your home for the next few weeks. Hoping everyone stays healthy during this tough and challenging time.

                                                                 Quarantini



Ingredients
3 ounces bourbon
3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon
3/4 ounce honey syrup (3 parts honey, one part water)
1/4 ounce ginger syrup

ginger simple syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
3.4 cup sliced ginger

Combine ginger, sugar, and water in a small heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar is melted. Remove from heat and cool for 30 minutes.

Strain through a sieve and cool to room temperature. Store in an airtight container and store in refrigerator.

Directions
Combine all ingredients into an ice-filled shaker. Shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass over ice.
