Cinnabon Monkey Bread

During the pandemic, it has been a challenge to come up with new and creative activities to do with children. Baking seems to be a favorite among kids; their excitement for measuring, pouring, and mixing is infectious. I decided to pair two classic favorites, Cinnabons and Monkey Bread, for the children to bake.

Cinnabon Monkey Bread is sticky, gooey and decadent, oozing with caramel and cinnamon; it is the ultimate treat for big and little. This addictive and delectable bread is a great baking project to do with your children during the pandemic. They soon will be begging you to make this recipe again!

                                                                Cinnabon Monkey Bread

Ingredients

3 cans Pillsbury Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls

3/4 cup granulated sugar 

2 tablespoons cinnamon

1/2 cup brown sugar 

8 oz. unsalted butter, melted

4 tablespoons honey

Cinnabon roll icing

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Generously grease a 12 cup Bundt cake pan.

Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Separate Cinnabon dough, cut each biscuits into quarters and roll into a ball. Add dough to sugar mixture one at a time to coat. Arrange balls in an overlapping layer to coat. 

Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and honey. Pour over the Cinnabon dough ball pieces in the Bundt pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. 

Cool 5 minutes and then invert onto a plate. Drizzle Cinnabon icing over the top before serving. Pull apart to serve.
