Cranberry Sauce with Crystallized Ginger and Rum

This Thanksgiving, make this delicious and decadent cranberry sauce. So delectable and easy to make, it could be the start of a new tradition.

                                                            Cranberry Sauce with Crystallized
                                                                              Ginger and Rum


Ingredients
1 12 oz. bag fresh cranberries, rinsed
1/2 cup spiced rum
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped crystallized ginger

Directions
Bring cranberries, rum, water, and dark brown sugar to a boil. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to a simmer, and cook until the cranberries burst and mixture is thickened, 20-25 minutes. Fold in the crystallized ginger and transfer to a serving bowl. Refrigerate before serving.
