Truffle Mashed Potatoes are the ultimate decadent side dish. They are dreamy, creamy, fluffy, buttery, and full of rich flavors. So scrumptious and easy to make, this delectable side dish will become a staple for your holiday feasts.
Truffle Mashed Potatoes
2 pounds potatoes
2 3/4 oz. salted butter
2 1/2 oz. sour cream
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 oz Parmesan cheese
2 3/4 tbs. milk
1 tsp. truffle oil to taste
salt and pepper to taste
flat leaf parsley, finely chopped.
Directions
Place the potatoes in a large pot, cover with water, and boil until potatoes are fork tender.
Drain thoroughly and return to the pot. Mash with a potato masher until smooth.
And in butter, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder.
Turn the heat back on to low. Slowly add the milk, mix until the potatoes are the right consistency.
Gradually add in the truffle oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Top with a pad of butter and chopped parsley.
